How to Make a Call

To make a call follow these steps:

  1. Enter the number you wish to call on the number pad or select the contact. Note: You can call internal or external numbers.
  2. Press the Green Telephone button - Call button.

Unannounced call transfer

To transfer a call follow the following steps or the short video 

  1. While on a call click more option
  2. then select the transfer option
  3. In the dialog box dial the number you wish to transfer the call to or select the number from the contact.
  4. Then click the green arrow.

A transferred call cannot be recalled, putting a call into a parking bay is a preferred option

Announced call transfer

  1. Press the '+ add call' button.
  2. You can then select a number or dial a number or extension.
  3. Then call the number. This will place the original call on hold and you can speak to the new party to announce the transfer.
  4. To complete the transfer, press the 'more' button, then select 'Transfer to _____' from the menu.

Call Parking

Call parking allows you to place a call in a shared "Parking Bay" so that another person can take the call.  Whilst in park the user hears the on hold music.

Each FlexPBX system is typically configured with three parking bays as follows;

Parking bay 1: *3701

Parking bay 2: *3702

Parking bay 3: *3703

This is done on your softphone by transferring a call to the park bays above.

To pick up a parked call you only need to dial the number from the home screen, please note you do need the "*".

How to view contacts and call history

To view your contacts and call history select the symbol from the menu on the bottom of the window, this will display the contacts in your phone if you allow it and also the call history for previous calls.


How to make a Conference Call

To make a conference call follow these steps

  1. Once in a call press the add call
  2. Dial the number or select the contact you wish to add and select the green call button at the bottom.

How to apply Do Not Disturb Mode

To put the softphone into Do Not Disturb mode follow these steps

  1. Select the messages option at bottom of the screen 
  2. Click the arrow on the right-hand side
  3. Select Do not disturb from the dropdown list, you will be asked to confirm this choice.
  4. To disable Do not disturb mode reverse the process and select Available
