3CX Mobile App - Enabling and Disabling Your 3CX Account

πŸ“± Enabling and Disabling Your 3CX Account on Mobile (iOS & Android)

This guide explains how to enable or disable your 3CX account on the 3CX mobile app for both iOS and Android devices.


If you want to stop calls ringing on your mobile at the same time as your desk phone or computer softphone you can disable the account on the mobile app.
The instructions below explain for to disable the account and then enable it when you want to receive calls.

Apple iOS Instructions

βœ… Enable Your Account

  1. Open the 3CX app.
  2. Tap the menu icon (3CX logo) in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Accounts.

  4. Tap the circle next to your account to tick it (βœ“).
  5. Return to the home screen β€” it should display "Ready for calls".

🚫 Disable Your Account

  1. Open the 3CX app.
  2. Tap the menu icon (3CX logo) in the top-left corner.
  3. Select Accounts.
  4. Tap the circle next to your account to untick it.
  5. Return to the home screen β€” it will display "No active profile".



Android Instructions

βœ… Enable Your Account

  1. Open the 3CX app.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.
  3. Tap your account name at the top.
  4. Tap and hold your account name in the middle of the screen.
  5. Select Activate.



🚫 Disable Your Account

  1. Open the 3CX app.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.
  3. Tap your account name at the top.
  4. Tap and hold your account name in the middle of the screen.
  5. Select Deactivate.



πŸ“ Notes

  • Disabling your account will stop calls and notifications on your mobile device.
  • You can still receive calls on other devices (e.g., desktop or web client).
  • No need to re-scan the QR code when re-enabling the account.
