How to use a 3CX shared parking bay on the mobile softphone

How to park a call on the 3CX mobile softphone

When using 3CX we recommend that calls are parked when transferring a call to another staff member.

Desktop phones have programmed parking bay keys, but these are not available on the softphone.

This is the technique to answer and park calls on the 3CX softphone on a mobile device.

To park a call in a share parking bay on the Mobile softphone:

You are on a call and wish to place the call in a shared parking bay so another staff member can pick it up.

1. Press the transfer button on the keypad



2. Choose the button Transfer



3. Type in the name of the parking bay that you want to pick up - SP1, SP2 or SP3
Press the Call SP1 button.




The call is now parked in the parking bay.
You can hang up the call without loosing the call.






To pickup a call from a shared parking bay on the Mobile softphone:

When you are not on a call you can pickup an existing call that has been placed in a shared parking bay - SP1, SP2 or SP3

1. Press the Search  button on the keypad.
 


2. Type the name of the parking bay - SP1 or SP2 or SP3 all in upper case.
Then press Call SP1




3. You have answered the call from the parking bay.
