How to use a 3CX shared parking bay on the web app

How to park a call on a 3CX softphone

When using 3CX we recommend that calls are parked when transferring a call to another staff member.

Desktop phones have a programmed parking bay keys, but these are not available on the softphone.

On the softphone the technique is slightly different.


To park a call on the 3CX Web App:

You are on a call and wish to place the call on park. 

1. Press the Alt transfer button on the keypad.
 

2. Type the name of the parking bay.
SP1 or SP2 or SP3
Then press the green answer button.



The call is now parked in SP1 (or the bay you chose)



To pickup a call from parking on the 3CX Web App:

When you are not on a call you can pickup a call from a shared parking bay - SP1, SP2 or SP3

1. Start when by typing in the name of the parking bay that you want to pick up - SP1, SP2 or SP3
Then press the green answer button.



2. You have answered the call from the parking bay.
