Quick, easy guide for handling calls using Shared Parking BLF keys
Shared Parking allows you to place a caller on hold in a shared spot so another team member can pick the call up from their own phone. It’s ideal for office environments where you can alert a colleague in person.
✅ Step‑by‑Step Guide
1. Agent 1 receives the call
- A call comes in to Agent 1.
- Agent 1 answers the call normally.
2. Agent 1 parks the call
- While on the call, Agent 1 presses the Shared Parking BLF key on their phone.
- This places the caller into the shared parking slot.
- The BLF key will typically change status (e.g., turn red) to indicate the slot is now occupied.
3. Agent 1 notifies Agent 2
4. Agent 2 retrieves the call
- Agent 2 presses the same Shared Parking BLF key on their phone.
- The caller is immediately connected to Agent 2.
