Installing the 3CX Web App on your computer

How to install the 3CX Web App:


The 3CX Web Application allow access to the most of the 3CX softphone features on your computer.
You can make and receive calls, check who is on the phone and interactive with your customers via SMS.

Follow these Steps to install the 3CX Web Application:

1. Find the 3CX Welcome email you received from Summit when we provisioned your 3CX user account - Search for subject - "Welcome to 3CX | Your Account Details"
If you can't find your 3CX welcome email please contact Summit Inernet Support - 1300 049 749 or support@summitinternet.com.au

2. Inside the email find the section - 'Your Web Client Login'

3. Click the link in the email to open the webclient on the 3CX . It will look like this -  https://your-summit-3cx-phone-system.3cx.com.au/webclient

4. Login with the username and password provided.

5. You will now be looking the 3CX Web client which will allow you to make and receive calls via the browser.

6. To install the Web App - Click on the Windows logo in the top left corner of the window.


7. You given a choice between installing the native Web App or the Desktop App.
We recommend the Web App.
Click the Install button on the left to install the Web App



8. At the top of the browser another window will open asking your approval to install the 3CX web app.
Click install.



9. The Web App will open and ask you to allow access to your computer.
Tick all the options and press Allow.


10. Lastly confirm that your headset / audio settings are setup correctly.
Click the 3 dots Settings on the left hand side of the window and then Settings.


11. Click on Audio / Video on the left hand side of the window. 
Now check the correct Ringer, Speaker, Microphone are set.



The 3CX Web App has been installed and will open each time you restart your computer.
