Ringotel Desktop Quick Start Guide

How to Log Into Ringotel

Use the log in details provided by Summit Internet
In case of any errors occurring during authentication process - please check if the information you entered is correct and you have a stable internet connection

How to Connect your Headset

Settings → Audio

·         Select your recording device (this is the microphone)

·         Select your playback device (this is your headset earpiece)

·         Select your ring device (this is what will ring on incoming calls)

Switch between screen sizes




Make a call

Press the keypad button, enter your number (click buttons or use keyboard) then press

Make a call from a Speed Dial List

1. Click on the + icon
2. Select Speed dial list

3. Select your speed dial

Answer a call

Click on the  icon, to answer a call, or the icon, to drop it.



Hang Up A Call

To hang up a call, click the button.

Put a call on hold

To put a call on hold: Click the icon on the Call panel or in the Pop-up window.

To resume a call from hold:
Click the same icon again to resume

Call transfer: Blind transfer

To transfer a call:
1. Click the icon on a Call panel or Pop-up window.
2. Choose a contact you want to transfer a call to from the list or enter a new phone number in a Search field and click on the Blind transfer icon.

Call transfer: Attended transfer

To make a warm transfer:
1. Follow the steps 1 and 2 like for Blind Transfer but press Attended transfer button instead.
     An additional active panel will appear for the second active call while the first active call will be put on hold automatically.
2. Click on the Transfer button at Active Line or Pop-up window.

Call parking

To park a call:
1. Click the icon on a Call panel or Pop-up window.


2. Select the Park slot you wish to use


3. Confirm you wish to park the call by selecting YES


To retrieve a parked call
Click the icon on the park slot
