Ringotel - Managing Shared Phonebook


If you would like to manage your own Shared Corporate phone book for Ringotel or FlexPBX Desk phones, please contact Summit who will provide you with log in details - 1300 049 749 opt 2.

Shared Phonebook Features

It is a centralised contact list available from Summit desktop phones and Ringotel Softphones.
Allows the Import of contacts in CSV format.
Access via Webportal to manually add, change and remove contacts.

How to Manage the Contacts

  1. Log into the phone book with the supplied credentials - https://phonebook.sipvoice.com.au/
  2. There are two sections to the phone book : Internal Directory and External Directory.
    1. Internal Directory is auto generated and cannot be edited.
    2. External Directory is for Outside/External contacts, this phone book is shared with yoru Ringotel users.
  3. To add an entry, enter the contact information into the fields at the top of the list and click Add
    1. Not all fields are required. Minimum recommended would be First Name, Last Name and Pri Number.
  4. To Delete a contact, click Delete to the right of the contact entry.
