Bria Enterprise - Desktop Quick Start

These instructions will help you get the most out of the tool.

How to Log Into Bria Enterprise

Use the log in details provided by Summit Internet


How to Connect your Headset

WINDOWS : Softphone → Preferences → Devices

MAC : Bris Stretto → Preferences → Devices

How to Make a Call

To make a call follow these steps:

  1. Enter the number you wish to call on the number pad or select the contact. Note: You can call internal or external numbers.
  2. Press the Green Telephone button - Call button.

How to Answer a Call

To answer calls follow these steps:

  1. When the soft phone rings click the button on the left (Green phone) to answer or the right to reject (Red Phone)
  2. This can be done on the pop up window or the within the app itself

Transferring a Call

To transfer a call follow the following steps or the short video 

  1. While on a call click the transfer button
  2. In the dialog box dial the number you wish to transfer the call to or select the number from the contact.
  3. Then click Transfer Now

A transfered call cannot be recalled, putting a call into a parking bay is a prefered option

Call Parking

Call parking allows you to place a call in a shared "Parking Bay" so that another person can take the call.  Whilst in park the user hears the on hold music.

Each FlexPBX system is typically configured with three parking bays as follows;

Parking bay 1: *3701

Parking bay 2: *3702

Parking bay 3: *3703

Parking a Call

  1. When on a call advise the person you are about to park the call.
  2. Select the Transfer button
  3. Dial the park bay number you wish to use on the softphone keypad i.e *3701
  4. Select Transfer Now
  5. Notify the other party that a call is waiting for them, you can call their extension and advise them which Parking bay the call is in.
  6. If the person is unavailable and you wish to return the call from the park slot click the play button on the original call 
  7. If you are the person receiving the parked call simply dial the park slot number.

How to view contacts and call history

To view your contacts and call history select the symbol from the menu on the bottom of the window

 

How to bulk import contacts

To bulk import your contacts from a saved file follow these steps

  1. select the contact menu from on the top row of the window
  2. From the drop down select the import contacts
  3. Select the file type of your contacts file and select next 
  4. Select the file from its location and select next then select import

How to make a Conference Call

To make a conference call follow these steps

  1. Dial the first number you wish to call and click the arrow on the left side to choose the call type and select Start Conference Call
  2. Then add the next number you wish to add and select add
  3. This can be repeated for a 3 way call however 3 is the maximum number


How to apply Do Not Disturb Mode

To put the the softphone into Do Not Disturb mode follow these steps

  1. Select the Presence Status in the top left corner
  2. Select Do not disturb from the dropdown list
  3. To disable Do not disturb mode reverse the process and select Available
