How To Perform An Attended Transfer On 3CX - Yealink T54W
An attended transfer allows you to speak with another agent before transferring the caller. This is useful when you need to brief a colleague or check if they are available before sending the call through.
Follow the steps below:
✅ Step‑by‑Step Guide
1. Agent 1 receives the call
- The incoming caller rings through to Agent 1.
- Agent 1 answers the call normally.
2. Start the attended transfer
- While speaking with the caller, Agent 1 presses the Transfer button on the Yealink T54W.
3. Call Agent 2
- After pressing Transfer, the phone will prompt for a number.
- Agent 1 dials Agent 2’s extension number.
- Agent 1 waits for Agent 2 to answer.
4. Consult with Agent 2
- Agent 1 and Agent 2 can now talk privately.
- The original caller is placed on hold during this time.
- Agent 1 can explain who is calling or provide context before completing the transfer.
5. Complete the transfer
🎉 Transfer Complete!
The attended transfer is successfully finished, and Agent 1 is free to take their next call.
