Attended Transfer on Yealink desk phones

Attended Transfer on Yealink desk phones

Attended transfers in your phone system are slightly more involved than blind transfers. The difference being that when you blind transfer, the call will be handballed straight to the extension you choose, there is not much too it.

An attended transfer, or announced transfer, allows you to announce who your caller is to your coworker, to see if they have availability to take the call.

Info
The default on phones with Summit is always set to blind transfer, to enable attended transfer please reach out to our support team at support@summitinternet.com.au

Once you have had Summit activate attended transfers on your desk phones, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Answer your incoming call as per normal, the screen will show the number you are talking with.

Step 2: Once you are talking to your customer, press the transfer button to begin the attended transfer process. The following screen below will appear.

Step 3: Press the send button to call your coworker, and when they answer advise them you are transferring a call to them.

Step 4Once you have spoken with your coworker regarding the call you have put on hold, select one of the options below based on what you would like to do with the call.
