Yealink WH64 – New User Setup & Usage Guide

Overview

The Yealink WH64 is a professional wireless headset designed for use with PCs, desk phones, and (on supported models) mobile devices. This guide walks new users through setup, pairing, and daily operation.


1. What’s in the Box

  • WH64 Mono or Dual headset
  • Charging base
  • USB‑A or USB‑C cable
  • Power adapter
  • Quick start card

2. Initial Setup

Power On the Headset

  • Slide the power switch to turn the headset on.
  • LED indicators will show the current status.

Connect the Base

  1. Plug the power adapter into the base.
  2. Connect the base to your PC using the supplied USB cable.
  3. (Optional) Connect the base to a desk phone using the headset port.
  4. Dock the headset on the base to begin pairing.

Pair the Headset

  • Place the headset on the base.
  • Pairing completes automatically.
  • The LED indicator confirms successful pairing.

3. Connecting to Devices

PC Connection

  • Connect the base to your computer via USB‑A or USB‑C.
  • The headset works with most softphones (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.).
  • For best performance, install Yealink USB Connect to manage firmware and settings.

Desk Phone Connection

  • WH64 works natively with Yealink desk phones.
  • For third‑party phones, an EHS62 adapter may be required.

Mobile Device (Bluetooth Models Only)

  1. Switch the headset to Bluetooth mode.
  2. Open Bluetooth settings on your phone.
  3. Select Yealink WH64 from the list.

4. Charging

  • Dock the headset on the charging base.
  • A full charge is recommended before first use.
  • LED indicators show charging progress.

5. Using the Headset

Call Controls

  • Answer/End Call: Tap the call button
  • Mute/Unmute: Press the mute button
  • Volume: Use the volume controls
  • Teams Button (Teams Edition): Opens Teams or answers Teams alerts
  • Voice Assistant (Mobile Mode): Activates supported assistants

LED Indicators

  • Solid green: Active call
  • Flashing green: Incoming call
  • Red: Mute or busy
  • Flashing red: Low battery

6. Software Management

Install Yealink USB Connect to:

  • Update firmware
  • Adjust audio settings
  • View device status
  • Manage Bluetooth/DECT connections
